Local curios and a favourite to look out for are the chitenge fabrics that local ladies use for clothing and wraps in beautiful bright colours.  Goods range from African textiles and intricate carvings to live poultry. Be sure to look for a carving of the Zambezi river deity, Nyami Nyami.
