We often get asked what Victoria Falls activities can be done by children. Below is a list of (Zimbabwe based) activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family
Elephant back safari - age limit 5 years (A guardian must accompany children between 6 and 18 years)
Crocodile Farm - no age limit
Tour of Falls - no age limit
Helicopter flight of angels - no age limit
Chobe Day - Not recommended for children under the age of 12
Game drive in the Zambezi national Park – suitable for children of 4 years and older.
Flying Fox - Children aged 4 years and older who can fit into the harness.
Zip Line - Children aged 4 years and older who can fit into the harness can foofy slide in tandem with an adult.
Zambezi River cruise - no age limit
Village Tour/ Meet the people - no age limit
Canoe Safaris - Children aged 7 and older can participate in canoe safaris if accompanied by a parent and fit into a lifejacket. Management retains the right to refuse a child who they feel is unsuitable for the activity for any reason.
Horse riding - minimum age is 4 years and children below 10 years are charged half the adult rate
Zambezi fishing: Children of 7 years and over. Children under 12 years pay half the adult rate.
