TOKA LEYA
LIVINGSTONE ZAMBIA

Toka Leya is a newly opened safari camp within the Mosi oa Tunya National Park which overlooks the impressive Zambezi River and some of its islands. The twelve en suite safari style tents are tucked under the Jackalberry and Waterberry trees which proliferate along the Zambezi River. The camp's shady dining and bar area overlooks the river and the lodge swimming pool.

Game drives into the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park are productive with an abundance of general game species like buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and impala. There is rich birdlife here too, including several sought-after species such as African Finfoot, Half-collared Kingfisher, African Skimmer (seasonal), Schalow's Turaco and Rock Pratincole (seasonal). For bird enthusiasts there are leisurely strolls from camp, boat cruises and island walks.
The Zambezi River offers ample fishing opportunities and tiger fishing is an unforgettable challenge for keen fishermen, particularly during the warmer months. There are several varieties of bream (Tilapia) that are also a good catch. For the more sporting, try catching them on fly!
Activities included in the daily rate are tours of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, game drives within Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, river cruises and guided nature walks. Other activities on offer in the area at an additional charge include sunset cruises, helicopter flights, micro-lighting, canoeing, jet boating, white water rafting and fishing.
